انتظار ها براي كليد خوردن فصل 2 به سر رسيد و براي عرضه ي آن شروع شد!چند روز قبل ، پس از گذشت حدود يك سال از عرضه ي آخرين اپيزود از فصل اول اين سريال , كارگردان اين سريال اينترنتي در فستيوال بزرگ COMIC-CON 2012 با نمايش تريلري اعلام كرد كه ساخت فصل 2 به صورت رسمي كليد خورده و اعلام كرد كه ما در اين فصل شاهد صحنه هاي مبارزه ي بيشتري خواهيم بود و همچنين داستان حول تورنومنت مورتال كامبت خواهد بود!
همچنين در اين فصل شخصيت هاي كنشي,ارمك,ليوكنگ و كونگ لائو به اين سريال اضافه خواهند شد!

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Season 2 Announcement Video!It's been almost one year since the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy closed out Season 1 . Today, we finally have word, straight from series creator KevinTancharoen , that Season 2 is officially coming. The writer-director did not reveal when the episodes will debut, although he did say that this new season will take place at the Mortal Kombat tournament, where the famed characters will fight for their lives. Take a look at this video announcement, where Kevin Tancharoen also announced what characters will be featured in thenew season.It isn't known how many episodes will be featured in this new season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy , although Mortal Kombat: Legacy Season 1 spanned nine episodes. ‘Mortal Kombat: Legacy’ Season 2 Announcement Trailer; Tournament Will Be the FocusThe Web series Mortal Kombat:Legacy made something of a bigsplash last year, releasing nine episodes ( watch them here ) that largely focused on the re-imagined backstories of franchise-favorite characters such as Jax, Sonya, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage, Raiden, and others.In not-so-coincidental accordancewith Comic-Con 2012 , director Kevin Tancharoen has announcedthat Mortal Kombat: Legacy season 2 is one the way, via a hilarious season 2 announcement trailer. Scroll down for more details about what MK:L season 2 will entail.Legacy covered a lot of Mortal Kombat history but ultimately left some fans cold, since the galvanizing event of the original video game series – the Mortal Kombat fighting tournament – was never actually featured in the Web series.Speaking in a (refreshingly) frankand honest manner, Tancharoen addressed fan criticisms of season 1 – not enough fighting, no tournament storyline, etc. – by letting it be known that Mortal Kombat: Legacy season 2 will in fact have more action, more new characters, and will beall about the tournament to protect Earthrealm from the supernatural Outworld hordes.If you didn’t catch it in the trailer above, here is a list of the characters who will appear inseason 2:*. From the funny live-action skits to the shots of posed action figures andvideo game footage – the wholething has an air of tongue-and-cheek humor to it that makes it hard to hate. That Tancharoen is taking fan concerns into consideration whencrafting this sophomore season shows he has just as much appreciation for the people who love Mortal Kombat as his short film, Mortal Kombat Rebirth , proved his appreciation of the franchise itself.The trailer craftily avoided the subject of a release date, but we expect to see more about Mortal Kombat: Legacy season 2 in the coming weeks/months.
