Everyday brown smokey eye makeup tutorial

It seems that the most beloved type of makeup ever is the smokey eye look. Everybody wants to master it, me included, so I’ve decided to show you my take on it – the easy day-time, brown smokey eye. You don’t need much, just a basic 3 nude color palette (matte colors work best during the day, shimmery ones during the evening/night ), your favorite mascara and a light pink eyeliner.

Step 1. Let’s start with the base – take your favorite foundation or BB cream, apply a thin layer on your skin and even it out with a brush or just your fingers.

Step 2.

Fill in your brows with an eyebrow-pencil that has a color that is close to your natural hair color, you don’t want your brows to stand out, just give them enough definition to compliment your eyes. Moving on to the eye makeup, take the lightest color in your pallete and using an eyeshadow brush apply it in the middle of your eyelid. Take the middle taupe shade and gently brush it along the hollows of your eyes. Blend the two colors together so that you don’t have any harsh edges.

Step 3.

 Now take the darkest color in your palette and line your upper and bottom lashlines. Slightly blend in the darker shade with a blending brush.

Step 4.
Apply one or two generous coats of your favorite mascara and . . .

Step 5.
. . .line your bottom waterline with a light pink or peachy color.

Step 6 and the finished look.
You can now add a light rosy blush to your cheekbones and a matte nude color on your lips. There you go, a simple smokey eye look that you can wear anytime during the day.
